Author Topic: NCAA Football 2022-23 (Read 3920 times)

I was rooting for TCU but Michigan got screwed on at least one of those two calls, possibly both. People will argue about it for years to come, I guess. But what's not arguable is that this is probably the best set of two semifinal games in the entire history of the college football playoff.

Jim Harbaugh broke the rules and did recruiting during the COVID-19 pandemic at a time when recruiting was banned. In an alternate universe where Ohio State won The Game the last 2 years they are probably using this to fire him for cause, but in our universe neither the NCAA nor the University of Michigan appears interested in punishing him.

Georgia can advance at will on the ground against TCU. But do notice that on TCU's opening 3-and-out, Duggan was overthrowing wide open receivers on multiple plays.

Don’t think TCU can hang with them but maybe they will surprise. Unlikely they’ll get two pick 6s and have Georgia fumble at their one yard line like last game.

Makes you wonder how on earth Ohio State could have kept them close but TCU beats Michigan.

Yes, the football playoffs might be more competitive if you invited 3 SEC teams and the better of Clemson / Ohio State / Michigan.

Georgia was very lucky to beat Ohio State. TCU stayed with Michigan by two pick sixes and Michigan fumbling at the goal line. Without those they lose by three touchdowns.

I think Georgia played a terrible game and OSU played a great game. I think that if you play if 10 times, Georgia wins 8. I also think that OSU was the only play off team that would have given Georgia any trouble because they have the team speed on defense to keep up with Georgia

Ohio State is the better team. They were missing their best receiver, their starting RB, starting tight end, and Harrison and their second string RB got hurt early in the game. Plus the officials gave every single call, and overturn, to Georgia
