Hoping for chaos tonight and next week so there is lots of controversy. And the NCAA can explain why a 12 team playoff takes 4 years to implement.

We're just assuming USC takes another loss? I think you have to let a 1-loss Pac-12 champion in.

We’re assuming strength of schedule matters and remembering what a happened to the pac-12 when they played the SEC this year

I’m guessing Georgia, Michigan, TCU, and USC are the top four after tonight.

Bad news for Liberty fans: Hugh Freeze is returning to the SEC as Auburn's head coach.

USC-Utah tied at 17 in the 3rd. If USC loses this, the door opens for OSU, or, ALABAMA!

USC does not look like it should be in the FCS playoffs.

Not at all. Utah on the verge of going up by two scores.

Very embarrassing night for USC, but to be fair even playing (poorly) in the Pac-12 championship game in Year 1 of their rebuild is a significant step forward for that program. I don't envy the committee's job of having to find a new playoff team, especially if TCU loses today too.

Meanwhile, Colorado appears to be on the verge of hiring Deion Sanders. They very publicly made him an offer last week in what I assumed was a desperate publicity stunt but it might actually work out for them?

If tcu loses bama and osu should be in. Not sure it matters given how good Michigan and Georgia are

Is Michigan good, or do they play in a terrible conference?

They barely beat Illinois a couple weeks ago. That’s your answer.

So I guess TCU and USC are out for sure. And Michigan will probably stay in even if they lose?  An unimpressive bunch of teams for sure. Don’t think anyone has a chance against Georgia.

Guessing osu replaces tcu. Michigan loosing might open the door for Alabama.

William and Mary blew out Gardner Webb today. They head to Montana St next Saturday for the FCS quarterfinals. Cam Newton led the student section in the wave in the fourth quarter.

So who replaces USC? Figure that will be Alabama.

Go Tribe.

Seems consensus is osu and tcu will get the last two slots, argument being tcu barely lost in OT and bama is still a two loss team. Sabin argued that bama would be favored to beat both of them.

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/page/cfpbowls2022/college-football-bowl-schedule-2022-2023-dates-s-matchups-every-game

Here's the full bowl game schedule. Time to pick out the most embarrassing names of bowl games.

#1 and #2 in some order are definitely the Jimmy Kimmel Bowl and the Barstool Sports Bowl. I think Cheez-Its Bowl is pretty humiliating to have to play in but this year that bowl features Oklahoma and Florida State, two programs that definitely have higher expectations than a cracker bowl. Pitt and UCLA are honestly probably pretty happy to be playing in a bowl game named for a cartoon character, the Tony the Tiger Bowl.

You can usually count on the Gasparilla Bowl for an amazing name but it's just named for some mortgage company. It used to be the Bitcoin Bowl, the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl, etc. I can't believe it lost the Bad Boy Mowers tie-in to the frickin Pinstripe Bowl which is played in a city where most people don't even have lawns.

Rice qualifying based on academic progress makes them my favorite team heading into the bowl season. RoofClaim.com bowl is the most humiliating name

Academic progress of its players?

And RoofClaim sounds like a shady website where you go to try to make a claim for storm damage on your roof.  Oh wait, that's what they are. Maybe not shady, who knows.

I should probably phrase that better
