Marshall goes into South Bend and beats Notre Dame.
Appalachian State goes into College Station and beats Texas A&M.
Washington State goes into Madison and beats Wisconsin.

And there's still a whole slate of games left.

Georgia Southern went into Lincoln as a 21.5 point underdog and beat Nebraska.

Kentucky beat Florida again.

I guess a good question would be how Nebraska was a 21.5 favorite against anyone?

Hokies bounced back after the loss to ODU by beating BC rather easily.  Does not seen like a big deal but BC was generally picked ahead of them in the preseason rankings.  Also the game against West Virginia in a couple weeks seems less daunting as the Mountaineers are 0-2 and just lost to Kansas.  Yes Kansas.

Also my Temple Owls got their first win against the Lafayette Leopards.  Ok, that may be the only win of the year.

Three touchdowns seems like a fair line against a team that you pay to come to you stadium and lose

Well Nebraska used to do that but now they suck.  I mean Northwestern beat them.

Things haven't been great for Florida since the Tim Tebow tears game, but Gator fans could always say "well, it could be worse, we could be Tennessee".

Unclear now if they have even that.

I read that Cam’s little brother plays for the Tribe.  Who, btw, are having their best season in a while.

Yeah. Offense has been very good. Delaware was previously unbeaten.

Kansas finally lost, to TCU. Kansas had two of the worst turnovers I've ever seen: a red zone fumble at the 1 yard line and an interception thrown directly to a defender who was maybe 10 feet in front of the QB. Both led to TCU touchdowns. TCU is a big, physical team that I would not want to play.

Alabama looked bad against Texas A&M (which itself has looked bad most of this season) and won by 4 points on a no-call that some think should have been pass interference. I had to google "when was the last time Tennessee beat Alabama" because it happened before I started watching college football but boy I bet they are scared of Tennessee for the first time in ages down in Alabama.

Oklahoma is in freefall after a 49-0 loss to Texas. Before the game I was calling Texas-OU the best rivalry in college football because the games always seem competitive even if one team is way better than the other on paper, but not yesterday.

UCLA is still undefeated. Is Chip Kelly back?

The App State win is solid but winning 4 games against bad teams is whatever. The entire ACC is propped up by preseason rankings and wins over bad teams, as always. MD has played Michigan (top 5) and Purdue (top 25/30), at least.

Virginia Tech is probably done as a football program if we're being honest. Their only hope is by some miracle the Big Ten or SEC decide to throw them a liferaft. They can enjoy the minor leagues (Big 12/AAC) one day, though.
