Adames had a year in AA and a year and half in AAA before coming up to the Rays in 2018. was the #11 prospect in baseball when he was called up. Good point of comparison to Garcia in terms of experience before being in the show. Adames had been their #1 prospect in 2017, age 21, bt which time Garcia had already used up his rookie eligibility.

Desmond had 34 errors in his rookie season. Over 20 several times after that. So Garcia is living up to the tradition. Trea was an aberration.

Even Cristian Guzman had 15-20 errors a year and he was a pretty decent SS even if he couldn't hit for crap.
