The curve and the change are still unhittable even without the fastball velocity

the tricky crafty nibbly stuff is way more interesting than bazooka arm fastballs anyways.

Yea although the Marlins don’t have much of an offense. This shows why Corbin is ineffective. Just one off speed pitch will not cut it for a guy throwing low 90s fastballs.

They are now.   But, if that fastball is sitting at 89-90 all year, they simply won’t swing as much at the stuff out of the zone

no, but they are doing their best to make sure he doesn't have to pitch in the playoffs
Call Feinstein.

Yeah. This isn’t 99mph strasburg anymore but he’s still effective.

Time for hockey.  I think the words for tonight and Strasburg are cautious and optimism.

Nicely hit to right by Victor. Good eye, Lane, and a Soto liner!!

By the way, there have always been unhittable "crafty righties". The Nats always seemed to trip and fall against them, and I mean the good Nats teams from 2012 through 2019. Here's hoping Strasburg games a little more velocity, though.

For Strasburg to be effective though.... it would have to be against the Nats.
