$10M compensatory, $5M punitive.
It’s hilarious that after 6 weeks the jury forgot the compensation part and went back and came up with that in like 15 minutes. Obviously much thought went into those amounts.

I was also amused by that.

He was awarded $15 million. Heard won one count of her countersuit and was awarded $2 million. So net $13 million to Depp, assuming anyone actually ever gets paid (besides the lawyers, of course).

The money is pocket-change for him, in terms of salvaging his reputation and potentially getting a big payday with a revitalized acting career. He was paid A$90 million for the last Pirates movie, which was probably around US$50-60 million at the time.
maybe he could play Robert Downey Jr. in the new Marvel movie, "The Making of the Infinity Cycle"?

6th shut-out of season... :(   Remember when I said that the most excitement, for Nationals fans, was whether or not we could avoid the shut-out - OK, guys, enough excitement, already.... ;)

Even by our 2022 standards, back-to-back shut-outs is quite some going. Will we go for three-in-a-row, tomorrow?...

21 consecutive scoreless innings. This is like 2007 all over again. And it is worse than the mid-50s Nats, as Calvin Griffith was trading away serious ballplayers for as many scrubs as opposing teams would give. He kept Roy Sievers, the home run champ, because people paid to see Roy. And a team with Sievers and Lemon always had a chance, especially with Camilo Pascual and Pedro Ramos. This is worse, just to repeat.
