He seems like a happy guy. Cheerful. Fun for teammates. He just never seems like he wants to maximize his talent

Garcia makes me wonder just how many of the players have gotten better after their callup over the last five years. Young hit well enough after his callup and the 1st half of 2024. Not sure about Gray. Certainly Ruiz didn't improve.  Irvin? Parker?  Maybe Lile.

it's not so much failing as succeeding for a while, like half a season, then tailing. Not really the Garcia story because he stunk in 2020 and 2021, but Young, Irvin, maybe Wood.

He's only 25!!!! His xwOBA has improved every season! The ceiling has fallen from "passable 2B with 135 wRC+" to "Arraez-level defender with 120 wRC+", but that's still valuable.
