Corbin officially sucks. Out loud. Bigtime. He needs to go on one of those mysterious, vaguely explained injured list stays like they did with Gio Gonzalez a few years ago when he sucked out loud.

Gio was never as bad as Corbin. Of course, "we have to get him started" and all that.

Does he have any options left?

There has to be a reason to play the rest of the games this year but I don’t know what it is.

If this is a serious question, you can't option someone with more than five years of service time.  So no.

Who are these two relievers, Perez and Weems? Was Perez one of the hopeless relief pitchers last year? Like Baldonado? And Weems??

Soto needs the hr derby to get his swing back. He’s been very underwhelming this season.

We'll see how many Erasmo gets him off the hook for, but when Corbin left he'd given up 12 hits while getting 13 outs and somehow allowing only 4 runs.  Obviously left with more chargeable to him, but that by itself is pretty amazing.
and still Davey praised him after the game for giving them some length and "making good pitches."

I guess he's from the power of positive thinking school.  This is like my ticket guy talking optimistically at the start of the season.
