Nats have been platooning their lineup lately vs. righties and lefties, with Adams, Escobar, and Thomas playing vs. lefties, and Ruiz, DSG, and Yadi playing v. RHP.  Robles and Thomas split time vs. righties.

Gray was lit up in 2 of his last three starts, albeit against 1st place teams. Except for one bad start, Freeland has pitched rather well of late.

It's not like the Nationals are hitting homers anyway.

29th in the league in homers...yikes...

They're tied for 14th in runs scored, but when you factor in how many games, they drop to 21st...

I really thought the offense was going to be better than it's been. Soto and Cruz slow starts have really dragged this team down.

What is the record for HR’s allowed by a pitcher in a single season. That record will likely be eclipsed by Gray.

I think we should trade Gray to Colorado, just to see how many homers he gives up

Non-blunder on the basepaths, but might as well drink anyway.

Robles deserved that one. If he can be smart about when he plays like that, he's a really good player. If he can just do that 75% of the time, I could live with some bone-head moments, at least offensively.

Is this the same Machado who throws hard with "electric stuff" and gives up hits and hits, until the Nats seemed to give up on him.

And now one of our bullpen “aces” has the same issue

Rainey to the rescue. Does he have 3 more outs in him?
