I’ve been noticing that the tv audio is just a hair ahead of the video. Carp’s “ohhh” seemed to come just before the visual of Thomas being hbp.

So that's twice the Nats' offense failed with no outs and RISP, but the Marlins were nice to us anyway.

Too much to hope or expect 3 relievers to perform in a row

Why do most of this team's wins seem like selling right before a stock market crash?

I was. And Gray is still going with two out in the 6th.

I like him more pretty much every time I see him.  He seems to have gotten over the confidence hump and is ready to pitch and trust his stuff.  Which he should, as it's genuine.

heck, that's not ambitious. I will say double the WAR. That's saying they will put up at least 20 WAR in their time with the Nats

That's basically projecting them as two average regulars (with an injury or two thrown in to pull down the counting stat).  I'm pretty sold on that for Gray.  Ruiz's receiving gives me some pause, but I think he'll hit enough that you probably get your 20 WAR from them.

He's actually hitting .297 in his last ten games.

Pity that he had 24 before them.  The overall line is still ugly in every dimension.
