I've been puzzling over Aaron Sanchez. Why is he starting in the majors? Baseball Ref shows that he had a fine season in 2016, but nothing since.

He did fine last year but then hurt again I believe. They are looking for bounce back guys. Unfortunately he is bouncing the wrong way.

If the Nats sent Aaron Sanchez to Rochester, would anyone pick him up?

pretty sure he'd refuse assignment and become a free agent. Not a huge loss. Guess he goes when Ross is back.

I think it’s clear why he wasn’t pitching

I think Adon goes before him but I have no clue who would replace him

So with no NBA or NHL playoffs tonight we get a preview of summer life with just the Nats.

Adon and Sanchez can both leave to accommodate Ross and Stras

Please, if you didn’t torture yourself by watching this game, go online and look at that play in the top of the 7th. Sums up the team and season perfectly.

If he goes before one of the actual major league pitchers returns, Espino would be the likely backfill candidate.

Intensely incompetent at baseball.

Robles really needs to learn to hit the ball the other way.  Hitting ground balls into one of the most extreme shifts I've ever seen on a righty is a ridiculous repeat outcome.
