Hector Santiago was the last screwgie pitcher I think to pitch in the majors. He had some decent seasons, then tailed off, then got nailed for PEDs I think.

It's a circle change but you then "turn the doorknob" the wrong way.  It's painful to even think about it.  Part of the reason guys don't throw it is that, but it's also that guys have figured out how to get movement without doing that.
