...and why current pitchers don't throw it, even though they throw other pitches that risk their arms. So, what is, or was, the screwball?
It's a circle change but you then "turn the doorknob" the wrong way. It's painful to even think about it. Part of the reason guys don't throw it is that, but it's also that guys have figured out how to get movement without doing that.
