Any Darin Erstad/Angels Fans Out There?
« Topic Start: April 06, 2022, 08:09:36 PM »
Found a signed, numbered Darin Erstad baseball card in my late MIL’s home. It says it’s part of the Donruss Signature Series from 1998. Looks like the value is about $15 so not worth selling. If you know anyone who would appreciate it, let me know and I’ll drop it in the mail.

As a Husker fan, I’d take it.

PM me your address and it’s yours.

My MIL, 93, who lived in SoCal, was such an Angels fan that we asked everyone to wear Angels shirts to her Celebration of Life, or at least Angels red. It was the most cheerful funeral you ever seen. Everyone had Angels or red on. Even the die-hard Dodger fans in the family honored her by wearing Angels gear. She would have loved it! The day before she died, she opted to remove live support, knowing she’d die within 24 hours. Her reaction?  “Guess I’ll be part of the real Angels team soon.”

She’d love that the card was going to someone who appreciated one of her very favorite players.

I think she would have been pleased with it.

I just dropped the card in the mail so you should be getting it soon.
