Camilo Pascual's batting average was .294.

He drove in a run that day. And hit .302 on the season. Career 40.9 WAR.

1. Game 1 of the World Series in Houston.
2. Bryce Harper's first game as a Nationals player (in LA) with Stras on the Hill. The Dodgers won on a Kemp walk-off if I recall correctly, however seeing Harper in his first game was a surreal moment.
3. Opening Day in 2005.

She's nine now. I've since added three more kids to the mix. I had a daughter in 2018 and twins in 2021 (one of each). My youngest twin and only son has a great left handed swing for a newly turned three year old. He literally hits between 100 to 500 balls a day off of the baseball tees we have in our front yard (although he can hit underhand if I'm within 10' of him pitching to him). My boy just wants to hit the ball.

years from now, when they talk about the Natural, there will be stories about how he hit baseballs all day as a 3 year old to develop that lefty swing. Hope you can make the trip for opening day.

Make him a switch hitter!

Definitely Strasmas. Nothing close.

I was at Wood's debut and Crews's 1st game at home. Got 2 t shirts out of it. For Wood, I have a picture of his 1st hit getting by Lindor, I think.

Game 3, 2019 NLCS. Strasburg and Howie wipe out the Cardinals. I knerw that the Nats would go to the World Series. Unthinkable since 1953, when I was just old enough to know about baseball
I got tickets to that one and went thinking it might be Stras's last home game. As it turns out, didn't he pitch Games 2 and 6 in Houston? I guess I saw his first game and the last peak Stras home game, but didn't realize it until a few years later.

It was supposed to be Scherzer's start. He woke up with neck spasms, so Joe Ross pitched. Yes, Stras pitched smothered the Astros in Game 6, in Houston.
