Ump gave Strider a break on strike 3 to Trea. Then he blew away Freddie on 3 pitches, with a whiff on the slider for strike 3

Phil Nevin is a crappy coach. I know he is the interim coach, but, what a douche.

The Angels should hire Phil Connors, because every season is a repeat of the previous one.

Thank God for the wild card.  Looked at the AL standings and two of the divisions have the leader up by at least 13 games. The other is 4.5.

kind of hate to point this out,  but has anyone else noticed that the Orioles recently are, for lack of a better word, good?  They are  2 games behind the Mariners and Blue Jays for the last playoff spot.

They've been rebuilding for almost ten years. They should be a lot better.

Yeah, congrats to the Orioles for winning the World Series of almost getting to .500 in early July.

They've been tanking for years and finally have some decent juice right now. Good for them, it's about time. Now they just need old man Adley and like all of their prospects to hit to be competitive with their division long-term.

JT is really a moron.  A couple games salary might not be much to him but is real money to most fans. And what about your teammates?

I forget whether any of the NYY are holdouts on the vax, but it's really impacted the Red Sox on trips north.  Their closer Houck is a holdout, as is Sale, and I think maybe another pitcher (Crawford?) and a position player (arroyo?).
