i'd take him over davey but i don't think he's the golden goose people hail him as
2 world series and three time manager of the year. He's a borderline HoF manager

White Sox gotta fire La Russa and hire Maddon next year. Perfect spot for him.

Pretty sure Maddon would turn it down

Why?
Bad ownership. Probably doesnt want to go from one bad owner to another.

Crazy to think Girardi and Maddon have both been fired.

I soured on him during the Workd Series, he made some inexplicably bad moves. Whatever magic he once may have had never came back after the cubbies won.

Interim boss Phil Nevin lost his managerial debut and Angels star Mike Trout exited with left groin tightness as Los Angeles tied the franchise mark for its longest skid set from 1988-89. The Angels dropped the final 12 games on the 1988 schedule — their worst stretch in a single season before this one — and then their 1989 opener.

I wonder if Davey and Hickey will say something to Rizzo and bring in Maddon as a consultant in the front office.  Just a nice baseball mind to add to the mix.

Maddon is garbo. He hasn't won since Davey left him. LOL at trading Davey for that dude. Even if I hadn't watched a million of his games and long ago came to the conclusion that he's garbage, this year he intentionally walked in a run.

The Angels are a massively flawed team. Little pitching. Rendon has done next to nothing this year. Trout has been in a slump and now injured. Ohtani’s perofrmance is down this year. I guess I am in the camp where managers don’t make that much difference. They will probably get a bump just like the Phillies did when they fired Girardi.

In an attempt to break their losing streak, each Angels batter is walking up to a different Nickleback song tonight. They are losing 1-0 in the seventh to Boston

Maybe they should play only K-Pop?

Phillies and Brewers combine for 400 pitches in a 9 inning game.  And the Cy Young winner Burnes started for Milwaukee.  113 pitches in 4.1 innings.  Eflin had three walks in only four innings for the Phillies.  Breaks his streak of 33 games with 2 walks or less.  Oh my.

Was watching some of the Mets/Angels as the Apple TV game.  They have too many graphics but I really like the looks of what they use of the lineups and players stats, etc.  Just need some better broadcasters

Maddon got a Mohawk to motivate the Angels. But got fired before he could show to team.  :hysterical:
