Casey is a AA outfielder, hitting .213 in AAA at age 26. Carillo is still hurt. Gray and Ruiz are pretty good major leaguers, but that's all the Nats got in the trade.
In the other flippage, the Nats got Riley Adams and several nobodies.
You forgot Lane Thomas. Four major leaguers already is not a bad haul for guys who were two month rentals. (Except Turner). And four guys under team control for a while.
Schwarber would have gotten more but was injured. Not sure about the prospect we got for him or those in the Hudson trade. This year will not bring much except maybe Bell? Teams just aren’t trading away good prospects like they used to.
