Chiefs do it again - a tough loss for the Iggles. Over here, Sky Sports and NFL Game Pass decided to keep the full US coverage behind their paywalls, so we were left with NFL Network pictures and...a UK booth crew.

Such things shouldn't matter, but it really affected the atmosphere of the coverage.
A good game, but not great - the much vaunted defenses, of both teams, didn;t really show up. The outcome was that, by the end of the first, I was expecting an offensive slug-fest - a final score of 49 -45 wouldn't have surprized me. I thought the Chiefs would win it by observing the teams body language, after half-time. The Chiefs looked up-and-about, with an 'it's only six points' attitude. The Iggles looked like it was still the first half...For me, the key play (and thank you, Iggles coaching staff / Hurts) was the long bomb to tie the score, at 35. Spectacular, yes, but giving the ball back to Mahomes, relatively late in the fourth, was only ever going to have one outcome. Mahomes cements his place in SB history, with a come-from-behind-win whilst injured.
Good to see St KIlda's (
ahem...) Arryn Siposs suited up for the Iggles...
