Should have listened to you. At least in game one.

1 for 2. I thought the Cowboys defense would dominate Purdy but I didn’t count on the Niners defense being even more dominant. Not sure what McCarthy was thinking punting late in the fourth with under three minutes left.

We’re lined up for some great games next weekend

Sean McDermott is an awful coach.  They should have beaten Miami into a pulp, and they should have won this game.  He gets outcoached every postseason.

This is the same guy who almost blew that team's first playoff season in years because he was the only person on earth who didn't realize that Nathan Peterman had no business being an NFL starter.

He's also the guy who blew what could have been a Super Bowl appearance last year because he didn't think his team should squib kick with under 30 seconds left in regulation.  Just a total clown.

Hopefully for the sake of Bills fans' sanity, they fire him this offseason before he continues to waste that wealth of talent.

Again, coaching.  McCarthy is another one who never knows how to get his team playing good football in the 4th quarter in playoff games.  Hell, the one time he won a Super Bowl, the Packers almost choked up a lead in the second half.

Also, the Niners' defense is for real.  I wouldn't doubt them.  The only QB to really get to them all year was Mahomes.

McDermott's offensive game plan seems to be "chuck it down field and hope for the best". With their talent level that works against most teams, but not against the better ones.

Offenses have a big advantage in those types of conditions with short pass plays and runners cutting runs back. I guess Mini Me did not get that. Even Chip Kelly understood that.

Fun fact. Dark has the same number of playoff wins as Hurts. And Daniel Jones. Brock Purdy has one more.

Sure but difficult to pull off in those conditions. Have to admins the Bungles really surprised me. Losing those offensive linemen is not easy to overcome.

34 million people watch the KC-Jacksonville game, largest audience for a Saturday afternoon playoff game since 2015.

It's really a 2023-2024 story, but Schefter is reporting that the Patriots have hired Bill O'Brien as their OC.  He should get a lot more out of Mac Jones than the Patricia/Judge clown show.

Sticking with what's comfortable even though none of the coaching tree has done anything without Brady

It's hard to remember, but O'Brien had an over .500 record with the Texans, along with a few playoff appearances.  He also has a decade + of being away from BB, either on his own or under Saban.  I think his time as a coach under BB was about 4 years.  Easily the best of his assistant coaches that went on to HC positions in the NFL.

I’m very happy for his return :)

It should be noted that Henne's 98 yard drive was the longest in Chief's postseason history... :)

Lololol same ol’ Jetsies :lmao:

I know it’s the Jets but wasn’t he considered a good coordinator?  Looks like they are targeting  Rodgers by signing him.

Good story on the key Eagles player. No not Jalen Hurts. Lane Johnson. And his mental health struggles.

He seems like a decent coach (did better than both his predecessor and successor, and turned in some winning seasons for what has become an absolute mess of a franchise), so I'm wondering why he felt like he should go from one dumpster fire to another.

Feels like he'd be a good fit for the Buffalo job if they ever come to their senses and fire McDermatitis.

I would have thought their interim coach would get the job simply for getting decent play out of darnold.
