Golf 2022
« Topic Start: January 20, 2022, 02:05:24 PM »
Ladies are playing just a few miles away from me in Orlando this week. Unfortunately schedule will not allow us to go.  A pro am with some other celebrities and athletes. Would have been fun to heckle Smoltz.

Never saw anything like that. Playoff and they both hit their tee shot into a fairway bunker just inches apart.

Scottie Scheffler went from -6 to -1 in the blink of an eye. Course is winning today.

Took my first trip to Pinehurst last weekend to play 4 rounds.  I have no idea what took me so long but I will be back.  We played #2, #5, and nearby courses Pine Needles and Tallamore.  We also played The Cradle and after reading and hearing about how much fun it is, I came away completely unimpressed.  Maybe we did it wrong, but I thought it was a waste of time.  Either way, it didn't take away from the rest of the trip.

Sounds like lots of fun.

Tiger needs to just hang up the clubs for a while. +6 after 7 holes.

I hope DJ wins so we can hear all the sanctimonious golf commentators drone on about how bad the LIV tour is. I mean you offer workers in any profession more money for less work and what do you think will happen.

I wonder if NBC's contract requires them to say "Top Tracer Technology" all the time.

Same contract that requires MLB announcers to say "brought to you by Amazon Web Services" (and before that "Google Cloud") every time they mention StatCast.

I'd joke about Idiocracy and "Brought to you by Carl's Jr.", except that I heard Heidi Watney on MLB Network unironically say exactly that at least once.
