I think the world of Dolly Parton, but her next rock song will be her first.

there are lots of non-rock stars in the R&R HoF.  From what I've read, the reason why popular rock acts like Styx don't get in is because the Hall wants people who have been influential moreso than commercially successful. That has changed a bit in recent years as bands like Journey and Def Leppard were enshrined. But most of the incredibly successful 80'-90's acts remain on the outside looking in even though their music remains popular today.

Beyond the ones I mentioned above, Reo Speedwagon and Motley Crue deserve enshrinement.

Anyone get. Paul McCartney tickets at Camden Yards? I tried with the fan presale. Upon clicking on the presale link and entering the fan code I got put into a waiting room. About 5-10 minutes or so later it brought me into the site where I was able to add four upper deck tickets to my card ($129 a piece). It then asked me to log in, but since I didn't have a log-in, I had to create an account. Once I went through that process, I came back to my cart only to get a message that the tickets were no longer available. After that I got a few error messages and then notification that the pre-sale tickets were sold out.

I'll try again on Friday when general public sales begin. I heard the Amex pre-sale earlier today also sold out in a few minutes.

Apologies, Dave - if only You Tube (GB) could give some indication of region availability...

Fingers crossed... ;)

Just saw a clip of the final Genesis performance from this last weekend. It’s sad to see Phil Collins now. Voice is shot and he had to sit in a chair during performances. I will always remember how great they were when I saw them on a stadium tour in the late 1980s.
