How are the roads out there? Can I ethically ask my mother-in-law to drive from Centreville to Arlington at 4 PM today to pick us up at the airport?
from the metro bridge over the potomac, 395 and the GW parkway were moving well and pretty clean by 10:30 or so. Crystal City, which is next to the airport, got an honest 8 inches. It's not the highway, but it's sloppy. I think it is bit better west, and I haven't heard whether 66 is bad.
If she's a NoVA person, then this would be sit it out weather. If she's Chicago / Great Lakes, then she'd be OK, I guess. But don't take mother-in-law advice from me
