Bob Sagat's cause of death was that he died in his sleep from an earlier blow to his head. The assumption is that he didn't think it was serious
I've had a couple of guys I know end up in similar trouble. One had a bike accident and didn't think much of the helmet impact.  Later it seems he had a carotid artery clot from the strap that traveled.  Had a stroke but survived.  Another guy fell off a ladder in his garage, bumped his head, thought nothing of it, then had a fatal stroke or internal bleeding.

In the car yesterday an Alice In Chains song came on radio (No Excuses) and I was mentioning to my wife how pretty much every big grunge band of the 1990's is dead now, well at least lead singers, with the Pearl Jam and Candlebox being the exceptions. I didn't even think about Screaming Trees, but they had a big hit out of the movie Singles that pretty much defined the Grunge era.

Mother Love Bone, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, and now Screaming Trees. :(

Not grunge, but also Sublime and Blind Melon.   Two amazing bands of the 90s
