For us old timers out there, Robert Clary, the last surviving member of the Hogan’s Heroes cast. He played Corporal LeBeau. He was 96.

I did not know he was an Auschwitz survivor. He and his parents were taken there when he was a teen. His parents were killed in a gas chamber the day they arrived. He survived 31 months.

Just got an alert from the BBC:

Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie at 79.

hadn't heard she was in bad shape. Loved her voice. There was a time when the Christie-Stevie debate resembled Ginger-MaryAnne.

Very sad. I just recently picked up her first solo album. It's really good.

yes. You Make Loving Fun has a terrific vocal but it is more a showcase for Buckingham and the band.  Over My Head is more Christie and they let her vocals carry it.

I also get a kick out of resurrecting "Everywhere" for the Chevy commercial.

Don’t think I has heard this one until about a year ago when it popped up from one of my Pandora stations. From the first Fleetwood Mac album she was in I believe.

also the first album with Bob Welch.  The guitar sounds like Sentimental Lady from his first solo album.

First Irene Cara and now her, what a bummer :( Gotta say I hated that song "Everywhere" when it came out but the stupid Chevy commercial has me liking it now, glad she was still around to hear it played over and over over lol

It’s like the worst song they could have picked and then having a bunch of millennials who never heard of it singing along.  It might have pushed her to the grave.

On Monday, we lost Clarence Gilyard just a month shy of 67 years' of age. He was known as Andy Griffith's sidekick on Matlock, Chuck Noriis' partner on Walker, Texas Ranger, and Theo in Christmas-classic film Die Hard.
