Former Penn star Matt Langel coaches them.  Is this 3 of the past 4 tourneys?

Yep and 2 in a row. It's great while it lasts.

Yale wins the Ivy bid.  Their starting point guard and their primary backup big man are Dc/MD kids. Bez Mbeng played in the DC catholic school league and was 1st team all conference at Good Counsel and starts as a freshman, while EJ Jarvis is a junior from Maret School and was all "state" as a senior.  Mbeng looked very good.  I wonder if he got to Yale as a recruiting lapse locally or whether he turned down schools for the academic opportunities.  Yale coach Jame Jones was mentioned in the Athletic as one of 3 candidates for the Penn State job.

What is the name of Yale's team again?

I'm picking Yale in the first round, just for JCA.

I ended up with all four #1s in my final four, with Gonzaga beating Arizona in the title game. I have VT, Texas Tech, Wisconsin, and Tennessee as the other Elite 8 teams.

I'm looking at it as a reason to drink Friday afternoon, one way or the other.

Have not done that yet but seems there is a lot of parity among the first four seeds and some others that could sneak in. All bets off.

especially given how many conference #1s lost this year and have fallen to 2 or 3 seeds.

So who does everyone have winning this thing? I ended up with Arizona, Gonzaga, Kentucky, and Kansas in the final four, with Gonzaga beating Arizona in the finals. I figure it's Gonzaga's year, finally.

Michigan upsets Colorado State, though Michigan had the higher power ranking.

I of course had Colorado State winning. Sigh..

Lost two of my final four on day one. LOL. Arizona and Texas Tech are doomed tomorrow.

I guess more than 743 St Peter's graduates filled out ESPN brackets.

ESPN is now down to 161 after day one. For comparison, after day one in 2021, there were only 121 perfect brackets

Even though I didn't pick them to win, I was saddened to see San Francisco lose last night. Their star player is from Ukraine. They ran a feature on him before the game noting that his mother and sister have escaped to Lithuania but his dad is staying in Ukraine. They didn't say if he'd return after the school year to fight but I assume he will. He has NBA potential though.
