Former Penn star Matt Langel coaches them. Is this 3 of the past 4 tourneys?
Yale wins the Ivy bid. Their starting point guard and their primary backup big man are Dc/MD kids. Bez Mbeng played in the DC catholic school league and was 1st team all conference at Good Counsel and starts as a freshman, while EJ Jarvis is a junior from Maret School and was all "state" as a senior. Mbeng looked very good. I wonder if he got to Yale as a recruiting lapse locally or whether he turned down schools for the academic opportunities. Yale coach Jame Jones was mentioned in the Athletic as one of 3 candidates for the Penn State job.
What is the name of Yale's team again? (Image removed from quote.)
I'm picking Yale in the first round, just for JCA.
I'm picking Yale in the first round, just for JCA.I ended up with all four #1s in my final four, with Gonzaga beating Arizona in the title game. I have VT, Texas Tech, Wisconsin, and Tennessee as the other Elite 8 teams.
Have not done that yet but seems there is a lot of parity among the first four seeds and some others that could sneak in. All bets off.
I picked Iowa final four.
UCON done, Kentucky having a tough one too.Kentucky done
ESPN says 743 of 17.5 million brackets remain perfect.
I guess more than 743 St Peter's graduates filled out ESPN brackets.
Well, we'll always have 16-15.
Only down by 13. No biggie.
last time I pick Yale
just think, KY out, looks like Elite 8 for Purdue
