Correa to the Twinkies.  3 years, $35 million a year, with 2 opt outs.

Story is the last man standing.

6/$162 for Freeman from LAD according to mlb.com

It will take some time to get used to Freeman in a Dodgers uniform.
he took $57 million in deferred money. $7 million per year for the first 3 years, and $12 million a year for the last 3.  Surprised the Lerners weren't in on that.

But I thought he was coming to DC.   :hysterical:

Can everyone just admit now we are tanking despite signing Cruz?

well, as no name as the offense was after the trade deadline last year, we were scoring runs. Cruz is an upgrade from RZ, and Hernandez upgrades the infield. Thomas may come back to earth, but I think that they will score. Where there was tanking was sitting back on the rotation and only adding Cishek in the pen. The rest of the pitching moves looked like monkey poop against a wall.

Kimbrel for AJ Pollock.  Sounds fishy, but not an April Fool's prank.

Sean Manaea traded to the Padres for essentially nothing - the number 12 and 26 prospects in a middling system.

Manaea is kind of meh and a one year rental.

Pads are gonna move their young pitchers with Hosmer

Lots of talk about Paddack in a  deal with Hosmer. Not sure of what else goes in and who gets stuck with salary commitments

Deal is dead. Mets would have taken on about 24 million. They also would have given up Dom Smith, while getting Hosmer, Paddack, and Emilio Pagan
