so, laureano is next, I guess.FWIW, Bosox are supposed to be in on Freeman. That would make Dalbec available, but more significantly, that looks like it blocks Casas (or locks in a post-JD time split at 1st and DH).

Manaea. Interesting to see what they get for a reasonably cheap 30-year-old mid-rotation guy who will be FA next winter. But there's no way the A's want to pay him $10 million after this fire sale.
Manae and Montas would be my bets
Matt Chapman to the Blue Jays
9:04am: The deal has been finalized, tweets Davidi. Right-hander Gunnar Hoglund, infielder Kevin Smith, left-hander Zach Logue and left-hander Kirby Snead are all headed to Oakland.
#Phillies deal with Kyle Schwarber, pending physical, is a 4-year agreement with an AAV just under $20 million per year, sources tell The Athletic.I wouldn't have minded him back, but 4 years at 20 seems too much of a gamble.
Hoglund is their #4 prospect (19th overall pick in 2021), Smith is #9, Logue is 27. Not a huge return it seems.
for comparison, that a 45 FV pitcher on Fangraphs with an MLB ETA of 2024, a 40 middle infielder who has reached MLB, a 40 SP who is nearly 26 and in AAA, and a 35+ MLB single inning reliever (27 year old). #3, #16, #10, and #26 again per FG. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/toronto-blue-jays-top-37-prospects-2022/For comparison, for the Nats, that'd roughly be perhaps Lara, maybe Luis Garcia or possibly Cluff (who is not MLB ready), a high floor, low ceiling SP on the roster or AAA, and maybe Seth Romero?
That was the deal Dan Szymborski projected for him.https://blogs.fangraphs.com/lets-sign-some-hitters/
FG rates pitchers (particularly young ones) really low.
then that means Hoaglund could be really special b/c he's 22.
Greinke to the Royals. 1 year/$13 million plus up to $2 million in incentives.
Bryant to Rockies 7/$182Bryant must be a Moron
Why? He apparently lives there and loves it. He will hit great in that park.
