Off-season manager carousel

In a move the surprises absolutely no one, Jayce Tingler out at Padres manager.

I’m actually surprised he was allowed to leave the stadium on Sunday with a job.

Preller's now canned three managers in seven years, two of whom were his own hires.  Team still don't win crap.  Makes you wonder if the managers are the whole problem, hm?

Mike Schildt

I don't know if he was sort of regarded like John Farrell was in Boston.  Winning but yabut . . .

And the Mutts. Wouldnt be surprised if he already had a deal lined up and the philosophical differences is BS.

Read on the Twitter that Schildt fell out of favor because he resisted analytics.  I have no idea of that's accurate.  Is Mike Maddox now available?

That makes absolutely no sense. I assume the Mets jump all over him

The Mets can't offer a job to a manager until they hire a "President of Baseball Operations", who will hire a GM, who will then try to find a manager.
