I have been all for the tanking, but watching the bullpen blow another game to deafening cheers from the visiting team is freaking ridiculous.

Which is the price for Mercer getting thrown out of the game.

Late to the party.  Thought it was a 7 PM start  :-[

Easy mistake to make at a weekend. Tomorrow's finale's first pitch will be at 15.05 ET (GMT-5).

...'the Nationals' bullpen has failed them' - Slowes

5-1 Red Sox

I've been trying to find why Aldo Ramirez is an adequate trade for Kyle Schwarber. Some of the other trades did not return much either.

They announced Dalbec, but I guess the ump had not been notified before Cora pulled him

Generally because he is a rental.

I think the Nats got much more than I expected for the trades.

Tomorrow afternoon our choice is the Nats' finale against the Red Sox or the Washington Underachieving Generic Football Team against the Falcons...whatever I ultimately opt for, it will be accompanied by plentiful vodka shooters with Heineken.

He's called for Dalbec
It's time to grab some Malbec
Or Luksusowa

I've begun looking at some of the trades. Daniel Hudson became this Mason Thompson, who had awful numbers in the minors, plus a weak hitting shortstop at Fredericksburg.

Like I said rentals get you very little.  Unless it is someone like Max.  Riley Adams and Lane Thomas seem like decent players in addition to Gray and Ruiz in the Dodgers trade.  The others are lottery tickets.
