Freaked people out when he’d arrive at the club house and put on a pair of slippers and a sweater.

Send a thank you to Mattingly, Juan. 6-1, I think he was just following the unwritten rules.

6 run lead no where near enough for the 9th.  Likely another loss.

Who is this team whose offense doesn't shut down after a few runs and whose bullpen bends but does not break?

Jolly good show for Rogers, and a good win for the pitching coaches :couch:

Really wonder why the Os gave up on him.

They had Matt Harvey. Orioles fans sneered, "Harvey's better than you are".

Am I just hoping but can we catch the 2010 team and would I be,self-admittedely , delusional if the 2006 team is within our grasp.

Avoiding a 100 loss season is within our grasp, that's about it.

I don't think we can catch either.  The 2010 team finished 69-93. we'd need 7 wins in the last 11 to tie, with 3 at the reds and 3 at home vs the red sox.  That's 7 games against teams in playoff chases.  Maybe the Sox are setting up for the WC game and potential division series so we dodge Eovaldi and Sale that series, but Cinci is probably going full on to go 3-1 or 4-0.  We get Sonny Gray, Wade Miley, and Tyler Mahle in that series.
