Posting this GDT thread a little early as a reminder to forum visitors of the earlier-than-normal start times for this series. All games are at 6:40.

Pitching Match-Up:
Erick Fedde (RHP, 7-9, 5.16)
- versus -
Jesus Luzardo (LHP, 5-8, 6.80)

This is Fedde's 4th start this season against Miami, and the Jesus Lizard's third start against the Nats. Fedde more or less owns the Marlins, with a 0.64 ERA in 28 1/3 innings in his last 5 starts against them, so it may be up to the bullpen to keep the tankathon on track. Luzardo has taken the loss in his two starts against the Nats, lasting 9 innings and giving up 9 earned runs, which at least makes the ERA easy to calculate.
