I suppose the LOB number would be even worse but for the double-plays.

Sounds like you're making a case to sign Zimm for 2022...

How is it possible that Stevenson hits so well off the bench but does nothing when he starts?

Reminds me of Rick Miller for the Red Sox

I suppose it might be a statistical anomaly. If you have more than one PH choice on your bench, you are likely to use the guy who has the best chance against the pitcher he is likely to face. So his PH opportunities are slightly more optimized than his starts.

Super play by Escobar.  Don't think $1M will be enough to re-sign him.  It will take at least $2.5M.

If history repeats itself first as tragedy, and then as farce, what stage are we at now?

Gotta give Davey credit for getting the team to buy into the tankathon

So, on the way out, I made the customary pitstop, and the speakers were pumping"touch of gray." It reminded  me of "a clockwork orange" which the dude gets accidentally conditioned to get nauseous when he hears Ludwig Van. Hope it's just that song.

Just watched the highlights, which features the Rockies booth crew on the Story HR - 'Corbin gets the signal from Avila...'  Now, just what signal was that Alex - something like 'place pitch here for certain HR?...' :hysterical:
