Isn't Rochester's season as long or longer than the Nats' this year?

Lane Thomas with the Nats in 120 PA: .301/.392/.524

In that small sample the dude has a .916 OPS and has been 43% better than average with the bat. BABIP is high at .360, but it's crazy to see that those 52 PA with the Cardinals were so bad, it brings him down to the .740 ish OPS player that his overall stat line says he is.

That's on Saturday
at the Capitol.

Hey, I'd love it if Schilling made it to throw out the first pitch Saturday.  Bloody SOCK!

Slovakia?

Re-scheduled to late April. That EU declaration Sunday-before-last really messed everything up.

When I get to my dream mode, I think Thomas, Kieboom, and Garcia can be MLB average or better starting at 3 positions, we have C covered well, and we have Soto and good Bell on board. Plus Yadi for some depth or DH.

RFD (RIP) used to stock Golden Pheasant, could have had a taste of Bratislava without having to get the same-day PCR test before the flight home

Why is Jordy Mercer starting at 2B and not Noll? Even Sanchez has a better chance of being around next year as a AAAA backup.

These are wasted ABs.

RFD used to have a fair number of East European lagers: Obolon (Ukraine), Zywiec and Okocim (Poland), Utenos (Lithuania) - went there fairly often in the first few years of the present century. Will have to check out this Golden Pheasant and also Saris when I finally get to Slovakia - only way to get most of that type nowadays is plunk down the airfare and go (admittedly rather difficult in the present circumstances).

If Thomas can OPS 800 over a full season and Kieboom/Garcia combine for a .760-.800 OPS we got a stew going

Dream up a few pitchers while you're at it...

Stevenson strikes out with the bases loaded...Nats have already left 10 on base through 5 innings...same old pre-2019 Nats.

Our Rogers with a 1-hit no-run start through five? Incomprehensible, but it's fun!
