except that if he told Martinez that Soto was not hit on purpose he was freaking lying. Dude pulled a Hunter Strickland on Soto last night
My guess is he was telling Martinez that it was a Will Smith decision, not a Braves decision, and Martinez told him either way Soto still got hit.

I don’t think Freeman is so full of crap to claim it was a mistake. If I’m somehow shown wrong, I’ll admit that was pathetic on his part.

Lol my grandson is coming to the game next week, we were talking today about his bad our teams are and I said well we still have Soto so we have one good player at least and he’s like “Bell grandma, Bell is good!” Haha love it that my little Marlins loving grandbabe knows opposing teams so well :)

Pretty much. Reminded me of Pedroia reassuring Machado he wasn't behind the multiple attempts to plunk him in retaliation for Machado's slide, since Pedroia didn't think Manny intended to spike him. Manny being Manny, he didn't get the benefit of the doubt, of course.

Atlanta organist just played St. Thomas, by Sonny Rollins, as Lane Thomas came to the plate. The guy knows.
