At home plate , I thought a safe call indicated the player had touched home. I’ve seen the umpire hold off on any call until the guy touches home. Shouldn’t be reviewable.

..."a crushing loss for the Mets...to the downtrodden Nationals". Key, we saw on replay: Nats had Stevenson stealing 2B so there was no chance that grounder could have become a double play. Lets go Nats!!!

Agreed.  I don't know what the rule is -- but it shouldn't be reviewable

Can’t have happened.  Most WNFF posters said Kieboom was Kiebust.

It may look like a line drive in the box score, but was a dribbler to short that would have resulted in a Zim Special under ordinary circumstances...

I'll take the sure loss in a Corbin start in my attempt to boost my friend bs in the standings before seasons end...1:05 start time...

EDIT:

I'll cherry pick the sure :w: in a Corbin start in my attempt to bury my friend bs in the standings before seasons end...1:05 start time...

Davey had Stevenson running to steal 2B, which meant there was no chance of a double play. Then the fielder might have blundered the ball because he was changing his mind to throw home.

Yea but almost no one here wanted him back and he has been hitting OK since he came back up.

Yes indeed...Stevie was almost standing on the bag by the time Lindor fumbled the grounder...

He's back because we have nobody else...like Robust before The Lane Train arrived.  Unlike Robust, he has no D game...

We can do better...not sure we will though...they anointed him the starting 3rd baseman in pre-Covid Spring Training...

I wish him well, but I'm not optimistic...

Deja vu all over again.  Welcome to the 2008 Washington Nationals.
