I agree with Dan. Rogers' movement - nerves or whatever - is a bit distracting.

Hard to believe that the nationals' overall BA is over Nats 2-1.

After the previous thread, and as this is a double-header, shall we be considering Rousseau during this one, as we've done Hobbes?..

There's a Doctoral thesis waiting here for someone    - 'Effects upon the consideration of Social Contract Therory whilst watching the Washington Nationals'   ;)

Mets SNY just played a Brut commercial starring Frank Howard, leading Keith Hernandez and Gary Cohen to talk about Hondo. "Just a nice, nice guy, and a hard worker. He wanted his players to succeed. He'd hit balls to you all day, pitch batting practice for hours. Just a fine human being. So strong...look at his hands in this picture. Six foot eight and 280 pounds. He didn't lose patience very often, but once, two of our guys were getting into it. One of them was a pitcher almost as big as Frank, but Frank picked him up by the collar, lifted him into the air,  and growled, 'Stop doing this'. That was enough".

I think Schopenhauer is more fitting at this point.
