And on the first pitch from Fedde, there goes the no-hitter.

Sounds like a lot of Mets supporters in the stands...what a fall this club has undergone, from 2019 world champions to takeover matches just two years later. (Not that the Nats' recent play - including this first inning - would inspire any confidence among the home supporters.)

And another RISP opportunity squandered.

I'm making a point of going to that weekday matinee against the fish week after next...probably the last real home crowd of the season, all 900 of us.  And that last weekend will be overrun with chowdah

And another RISP opportunity squandered.

Breaking news: the Nationals organisation will soon announce the awarding of naming rights to Nationals Park...the ground will, from henceforth, be named RYKRISP PARK. The plan will include, at night-time matches, the cutting of certain lights in the sign giving the ground name so that it will read '***RISP*****', in the hope that the Nats will improve on this aspect of their play.

...back to reality...RyKrisp has been out of production for several years now...but if one cannot find some aspect of the Nats' situation with which to entertain oneself, what can one do except return to the increasingly customary Luksusowa-and-Heineken remedies?

I just tuned in and saw the score.  We sure Corbin didn't start the game?

'This kind of an inning is something that makes you want to get thrown out of a game' - Charlie Slowes, just now.

Speaking of nothing to do I am headed out to Publix Field at Joker Marchant stadium in Lakeland. Suspended game doubleheader. Clowns to the left of me. Jokers to the right.
