I wish Josh hell would pick a good book, I’d join his book club. Would have to be more fun than his baseball club

When Soto has to run more in the field  than on the bases, it is a bad sign

Lane Thomas saved the night! Or at least, the inning!

So, does Nolin get a Metric Quality Start? Is 2 runs over  5 better than 3 over 6?

Yeah, he lives in this area due to his wife being from Montgomery County.  At this point he's no different from Joe Sixpack off the street.  Why did they give him a free luxury box?

Do you really have to ask that ?

Yeah, those cushioned blue seats are a breeding ground for disease, but they sure are comfortable.  Gio's fat ass doesn't deserve that.

Nice double by Garcia.

Mets announcers were talking about Hand and Adams.

They saying it hit Sisco when he was swinging? It almost looked like it hit the nub of his bat

That's the ultimate compliment to Hill. Soto in the 2 strike stance after strike 1.
963 ops, 5th in the majors, and we are disappointed

Did hit the nub of the bat, but Mets announcers see it as then hitting his wrist. That would make it a foul ball, but foul or fair balls like that cannot be reviewed.

It is a 2 run game. Why do we feel like it's done? Hill is not going for a complete game,  and even when we were getting swept, we put ip 4, 6, and 6 the past 3 games.

Maybe because so many games have been close with the Nats losing ?  Or perhaps because the Nats haven't hit much tonight
