I guess that works out to #1 Alabama, #2 Michigan, #3 Georgia, #4 Cincy.

My guess as well...

Actual bowl games that exist in 2021:

the Jimmy Kimmel Bowl (Utah State vs Oregon State)
the Tony the Tiger Bowl (Washington State vs The U)
Barstool Bowl (Central Michigan vs Boise State)

I don’t think a one loss Michigan is more impressive than a 1 loss Alabama or Georgia. Alabama has the better win, Georgia’s loss was more excusable

It doesn’t matter because they were never going to let a rematch happen, but this is the flawed logic of SEC love. Georgia is assumed dominant because, SEC, despite actually playing no one (their best win was a 10-3 snooze fest over a down Clemson). Alabama beats them and now has the “best win in the country” despite playing like crap for the past six weeks. Bama also has by far the worst loss of the three in the playoff.

Kinda. I certainly put money in Michigan +8.5 vs. Georgia.

The same logic applies to Michigan. They played 2 top 10 ranked opponents, lost to one and beat the other. The one they beat played one tough out of conference game and they lost. They rest of their schedule was beating up on overrated big10 teams.

AP Top 25:
1. Alabama
2. Michigan
3. Georgia
4. Cincinnati

Michigan got robbed. :)

Notre Dame (5) plays Oklahoma State (9) in the Fiesta Bowl.

Not the same.   Georgia played absolutely no one.   The SEC East is one of the weakest divisions in sports.   The Big 10 East one of the strongest

The big 10 looks strong because they play each other. They all play cupcakes out of conference (except Ohio state losing their game to Oregon).

LOL.   The SEC plays nobody.   Especially on the road out of conference.

Michigan is going to beat Georgia

JMU destroys Montana to advance to the fcs semi finals. Would be nice if they go out with another championship

I saw ETSU is in the quarters.  Is that Eastern Tennessee State down in the Tri-Cities?  I forget which one it was in.  Johnson City?

Johnson City.  They are the underdog against North Dakota State today. If ETSU wins they travel to Harrisonburg next week. If not, JMU heads to NDSU to play for a trip to Frisco.

Heck of a game between NDSU and JMU. Just like the 2019 title game JMU drives down late and throws a INT

Will be interesting to see which of the teams can field a squad with the way covid is spreading.

I suspect the NCAA will make them play even if they fill up the roster with intramural players.  "Hey kid, here's your chance for a varsity letter a Michigan.  Just get inside this haz mat suit, hook up the ventilation to the airplane's oxygen system, and keep you hands immersed in Purel while we transport you to the the bowl site. "

I highly doubt any of the playoff teams are testing at all.

Hah, routed always tough Lehigh yesterday.  Final 4 here we come!

Not to mention our amazing Terp who led Ferris to the D2 championship and an undefeated season.  That's right, after leading Md lacrosse to a 2017 title and placing in spring 2021 (and NCAA Player of the Year), Jared Bernhardt quarterbacked (as a freshman) Ferris State to the D2 title.  I'm not exactly an evaluator of talent, but he's big, strong, incredibly athletic and it's not a reach to see NFL in his future.

The SEC is such an overrated conference.
