Don’t see a thread so here goes.

Gophers giving the Buckeyes all they can handle so far.

Hokies defense looked great.  Made a guy expected to be a top NFL draft pick look bad. Offense not so much after a fast start.  So is VT good or was UNC overrated?

Smart move by Michigan State to NOT start the Temple transfer at QB.   :hysterical:

It's Ok to lose to your students' safety school.

Remember that high school coach in Arkansas who never punts? Well he's now coaching an FCS team in South Carolina.

In his FCS debut, his team scored 84 points and his QB (a transfer from Michigan) set an FCS record for most touchdowns in a game.

Seems infinitely more watchable than Clemson/Georgia or Wisconsin/Penn State

After watching all the 55-45 games the past few years some defensive struggles actually seem kind of fun. Looks like the college defenses are catching up with the offenses.

Watching number 3 play number 5 with one offense generating 3 points and one -4 was just boring

I don’t think either of them are top ten teams. At least not now.

Made my first mistake of the college football season - turned off the FSU/ND game at halftime since it seemed like ND was outplaying them and had this in the bag.

FSU coach made some questionable decisions in that game that cost them the upset victory.

For sure but if our kicker would’ve made the missed extra point we’d have won

:lmao:  There was no missed extra point. The missing extra point was the result of the coach going for 2 (have no idea why he opted to go for 2 early in the 3rd quarter with the lead). But even that was cancelled out when they converted the subsequent 2 point conversion.

No, FSU totally missed an extra point after scoring a td because of a botched snap.We should’ve gone up 21-17 but instead it was 20-17 and that missed extra point meant going to OT instead of winning :(

My bad. I thought it was a straight 2 point attempt. But if they make that, they don't go for 2 on the next TD to make up for the earlier miss.

Clemson going to walk into the CFB playoff with their biggest win over 9-4 UNC. Sweet conference ACC

Between FSU and Clemson losing, I think the ACC lost their shot at getting a team in this year. I wonder if the SEC can accept Clemson mid season

ESPN will make sure Clemson and ND make it. Oklahoma got tested this weekend but they should also cruise in the Big 12. Bama looks like a lock and OSU looks very good but in the Big Ten always a chance at a random upset. Notre Dame getting smoked by Bama is an annual tradition at this point.

Ultimately though the ACC is a joke of a football conference now. Miami gets preseason ranked and then ends up 8-5 with all 8 wins being against bad OOC and bad ACC teams. UNC gets hyped like crazy annually now and then ends up 9-4, same story. VT at home is tough to beat but Fuente hasn't proven anything. FSU is more dumpster fire than good these days, so we'll see. Clemson and FSU/Miami/whoever is bolting ASAP and I would bet money the Big Ten wants UVA and UNC to join the conference.

Clemson hasn't had to try hard in the regular season in like 5 years. Dabo will still complain. Guy probably went to New Spring Church on Sunday and told the crowd they lost because they didn't tithe enough.
