Nice hit by Garcia and then fine fielding play.

Impressive how the spare part pitchers came through - Espino, Machado, Clay, McGowin.  Not one  of them supposed to be on the roster this year.

2, really.  Nice stop on the one he bowled into 2d, then a nice play on the DP

Mets announcers wowed by the number of strikeouts against the few hits and fewer walks. They are still tracking the Barves, for some reason. Mets now 8.5 games back of Atlanta, if anyone cares. That's assuming Braves hold on in 9th, leading 6 - 4.

NY Post, one of the world's worst newspapers, headlines that the Mets lost "to the Lowly Washington Nationals".
