sock puppet is the way to go.  Alternate email name, maybe a different ISP . . .

Maybe you can do the mandible claw during the seventh inning stretch to keep attendance up.

change your screen name for the rest of the season

Let me know if the change I made satisfies whatever wager you two had going.  I know it's a bit cumbersome but I don't like completely removing the real/original name, it makes post history too confusing (I know no one cares but me)

we didn't have a bet. Smithian actually said that he would start a sock puppet account if Hernandez walked off the cubs and when it happened I merely suggested to make it easier by altering his screen name. Smithian is an honorable poster for following through on his word. We have had others make claims here who didn't follow through on what they said. :smh:

First all-Cuban triple play. Ramos, Becquer, and Valdy.

My dad talked about Connie Marrero of the "Cuban curveball", and Sandy Consuegra, but those two, and Fornieles, and Miranda were before I was old enough to understand much about baseball. And Mike Guerra played before almost anybody's time except for Ted Lerner. I did see Carlos Paula get bonked on the head one night. Camilo is one of my all-time favorite pitchers.
Did not know about that triple play. Saw my first MLB game in Griffith Stadium in the summer of 1951 (I was 7). Senators vs. Red Sox.

Marrero was a baffling "junk baller" -- sort of a poor man's Eddie Lopat (of Yankees renown). Solidly-built little right hander (like maybe 5'6). Won 11 games in both '52 and '53 (no mean feat with the Senators).
