Isn't he under TC for like 6 years?
Lol…no idea. Just “extend *whoever*” is what we do.

Call me loco but I think wins like this are important. Keep fighting, keep the clubhouse morale, then let's attract some free agents in the next few years to mesh with the young guys.

This. Losing sucks and I hope that Rizzo continues to try to field an entertaining team in 2022.

Am I the only person becoming progressively more comfortable with Yadiel Hernandez as a respectable #4 or #5 OF?

Not the only one.

Every victory feels like a victory :)

And maybe the Nats will finish below .500, but each win is special. When I go to a game, I want to see Washington win. This was just fine.

Farewell, Rivera. It has not been fun.

I cannot wait to see Ruiz in a nats uniform.

The Chief doesn't like name changes.  If he let me, I would have changed my name years ago to The Brad Marchand of Baseball.

Sock puppet accounts are perfectly acceptable if you can sneak it by The Chief.

1 Cubs Latino>7 Nats Latinos
Washington has always been in the forefront with Latino (albeit almost all Cuban) players, harking back to the 50s with the original franchise. At a time when there were hardly any Latin players in MLB, we had:

Zoilo Versalles, Pedro Ramos, Camilo Pascual, Connie Marrero, Sandy Consuegra, Jose Valdivielso, Carlos Paula, Mike Guerra, Willy Miranda, Mike Fornieles, Julio Becquer + others.

But you let Sportsfan change to ASSCLOWN!!

If my appeal loses, I’ll continue to post happily, but I’ll do it with a heavy heart

First all-Cuban triple play. Ramos, Becquer, and Valdy.

My dad talked about Connie Marrero of the "Cuban curveball", and Sandy Consuegra, but those two, and Fornieles, and Miranda were before I was old enough to understand much about baseball. And Mike Guerra played before almost anybody's time except for Ted Lerner. I did see Carlos Paula get bonked on the head one night. Camilo is one of my all-time favorite pitchers.

I don’t know what you guys did to Victor but you ruined him. Someone on this board must have introduced him to the Crystal City Restaurant. 😁
