The loss of Trea would really hurt less if we got a Soto extension announcement soon.. Punt 2022 with the likely lockout, don't make any big signings and eat through another year of Stras/Corbin's contract. Start all the young guys and see who is part of the future, make a big splash or two to fill in the holes left by young guys who don't quite make it. Maybe bring Trea back in '23.....
Yea, pretty safe to say that if an extension talks have fallen apart, then Trea is pretty unlikely to return here.
