Actually my first baseball game was here in Japan since baseball rarely exists as a sport in Sweden.
The Japanese are SO proud of  their guys making it in the majors and usually show Mariners or Yankees games in the morning here.

My favorite players have always been the contact hitters .... Clemente, Carew, Gwynn .... guys like that.  My favorite ballplayer right now is Ichiro.

Japanese baseball is interesting.  The same game but a whole different ball game, if that makes any sense.

I've been to Europe four times, but have never had the pleasure of visiting Sweden

They are great! Great pitching and they got a really cool manager - Oh - who I think has the world record for most homers, 868!

Ooooooooooooh Oh is the manager of SoftBank.  I did not know that.  Did you know that Oh is actually Chinese?

You know your baseball history!
I think his father was Chinese. He is pretty cool to watch in the dugout, the guy looks like he really means buisness.

I remember seeing Oh play a few times.  I'm 45 years old.  I don't know if I'd call myself a baseball expert, but maybe the king of useless information.

I've always liked the Expos, but was a Pirates fan first, from 1972-2004.

Was it hard to "abandon" the Pirates for this season and what made you take on the nats?

Dunno if you guys are paying any attention, but Guillen just homered to leadoff the 9th.  Castilla's about to strike out.

I have lived in DC most of my life.  When the last Senators team left, I started rooting for my dad's team, the Pirates.  I became a Nationals fan "first" the very instant the Mayor annouced the Expos were moving to DC last year.  That percise instant.  I mean, i still like the Pirates, but there is nothing quite like rooting for the home team, win or lose.
