Luckily they were showing a rerun of a show with Jackie Redmond hosting in a very short skirt.

isn't that too cold for good ice? if it's really cold, the ice is brittle.

They wanted to avoid the risk of the sun doing a number on the ice like it did at Lake Tahoe last year.

Fix one issue and create another one. Minnesota is not Lake Tahoe.

True, but they had record warmth in Minnesota a week or so ago. Outdoor hockey certainly has its challenges.

The Heritage Classic in Ottawa a few years back was really cold, and they also played at night.  The ice seemed OK.

They played a nice tribute video to him before the caps game tonight as well. I think every team honored him tonight.

he seems pretty with it and healthy.  I'm glad they could do it while he was able to participate (remotely this time).

Almost looks like the playoff race in the East is over half way through the season. As far as the teams that can get in. I suppose the Islanders could make a run with all those games to make up.

I'll be watching to see how long Pastrnak can keep on his roll that started this month.  He's thought of as streaky, but he's very hot now since he was moved to second line and teamed with Hall.

Islanders legend
bossy trottier gillies was a dominant line for their early 80s run. Gillies was the muscle. They did not use the term power forward back then, but he was that. Not just a goon.

Should have only been three Cups. Not four.
