Well the McJesus bunch made it to Round Two.

Florida and TB should be some fun hockey.

That’s a crime they allowed the second Pinguins goal to stand. Clearly a high stick. Tied up now after a deflection off the Pins defender. The puck knows.

Go...Rags?  Sounds strange.  Maybe I'll get used to it.

With the Bruins, Caps, Leafs, and Pinguins out, whoever will be hockey's public enemy #1?  Mathhew Tkachuk?  Radko Gudas looks too much like a beluga whale to inspire much hate.

2 goals in the first 51 seconds for Calgary tonight against Edmonton, fastest two goals to start a playoff game in NHL history.

Of course last night was one I had to go to bed early so missed the end of game one and the epic Battle of Alberta Part One. Rangers lose a heartbreaker. Sounds like Philly might get the Cup back sooner than expected.  When Johnny Hockey brings it when he visits home this summer.

Well the Rangers are back in their series but the Panthers laid another egg.  Big time choke job by those cats.

The West series and games are much more fun.

Kane is just a POS off the ice also. Difficult watching him excel next to McJesus. 12 goals already.

the things McDavid can do on the ice, I can't think of any equivalent other than Gretzky.

I would throw Lemieux in there also. But he is sure fun to watch.

Calgary local news reporter signed off from the evening broadcast last night by saying "and remember, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to, unless Connor McDavid also wants that thing"

From what I saw of the games Draisiatl was even better. He just cannot be moved off the puck and that showed on the series winning goal. Smith is showing his age or just regressing to his mean and their defense is not so great. I mean there was just some ugly goaltending in that series. So have to think Colorado will beat them. Of course they still have work to do.

I don't know how the NBA playoffs moved past the NHL when the Nhl started first and the Nba dragged out the first 2 rounds over 2 weeks each. NHL hasn't even started the conference finals. Is this ESPN's fault?

Draisaitl had 17 points in the five game series. Two goals and 15 assists. So three assists per game. Holy moly.

The NHL playoffs started May 2. NBA started April 16. Ususally hockey starts mid April but they started the season like a month later than usual I believe. Then the Olympics break was programmed in. Not sure if they will keep the later start next season.
