Robles wasn't crowding the plate there
He was crowding the plate a lot in 2019 when he was 2nd in the league in HBPs. He hasn't been crowding that much this season that I have noticed, but he's still 4th in the league. Maybe the book on him is to pitch him in to back him off, and they have not adjusted it.

Fillies still up 4 - 0, top of the 8th. Zack Wheeler has given up 4 hits. Another test for their bullpen, probably.

I still think Austin Voth is actually Craig Stammen, has anyone ever seen them together?

Can’t be unhappy with 2/4 on a road series.

Bottom of the 9th. Mets ground crew are working over a hole in front of the pitching rubber.

Mets ground out to short. Mazeika up as pinch hitter.

Mets lose.  Phillies should have taken all four games except for their godawful bullpen and defense.

so, after last sunday, before the road trip, the Nats were 5 games back, in 3rd.  Today, after a 4-2 road trip, we're 4 games back, in 2d.  We were 7 down in the loss column and now are 5.  Progress.  A win tomorrow would be large, but this is a GDT.  One game at a time.
