I don't think Dinwiddie is going to be here much longer. Might as well just move Beal to the PG position.(Image removed from quote.)
He’s played like crap most of the season and not near his salary. Would like to give him the benefit of the doubt per his knee injury but who knows. Of course Beal has not played well either. Ted is making a big mistake by giving him a super mad contract. Not a good enough player and not a leader.
Ted isn’t willing to have a fire sale and start over. This team isn’t a contender and there is no reason to expect that they have or are capable of getting the pieces that will make them one.
Word has since trickled around the league that Beal would welcome playing with Sabonis, although one source with knowledge of the situation maintained Beal has not actively encouraged the Wizards to acquire him. League personnel say the Pacers are seeking a package similar to or greater than the haul Nikola Vucevic drew for the Orlando Magic last season. Only Sacramento, New Orleans and Washington have been linked by league personnel as Sabonis suitors with significant interest.For the Wizards to offer something on par with Vucevic's haul, Washington would likely have to part with at least two of Rui Hachimura, Deni Avdija and Corey Kispert, with additional salary of either Thomas Bryant or Montrezl Harrell, plus further draft capital. And that still might not reach Indiana's high asking price.

Executives around the league believe the two players most likely Wizards to be traded are Montrezl Harrell and Davis Bertans.As for Bertans, it appears he is firmly out of the rotation at this point. Right before that became clear, both Sheppard and head coach Wes Unseld Jr. had long discussions with Bertans about his role at the end of a recent practice, NBC Sports Washington was told. He spoke with Unseld Jr. for upwards of an hour.
Add Dinwiiddie but like Bertans they will get nothing for him. I can't figure out if Dinwiddie is cooked or just needs more time to recover from the ACL injury. Or is playing bad intentionally to get away from Beal. Gosh I hope so. That 10-3 start was fools gold. Instead of depth we now have guys lobbying for playing time and who gets to shoot the ball. Everyone unhappy. Just trade everyone except Kuzma and Gafford and maybe Deni. The talent is just not there and neither is the heart with this group. Feel bad for the coach.
Now Chase Hughes is tweeting that someone who's identity he's protecting is telling him of the possibility of a Wall for Russ trade, with the Rockets buying out Russ and then Russ signing back with Washington.
