the path to victory now is keep it close, then dish to Kuzma in the last 5 minutes.  Loud MVP chants for him last night (well, loud in the context of a half-full arena).

He definitely has the look of an MVP.

he has a "give me the damn ball" attitude, and unlike so many others, doesn't force dumb shots.

But how does he get his car keys with a shirt that long?

They really need to move on from Beal--good player at least offensively.  But not worth anywhere near a super max.  He is the anti-kozma as he always comes up short at game end.

Indy is a mess.  I would like them to get Sabonis.  Not sure what they could give up.  Maybe Harrell, TB and KCP and a 1st?  Not sure if the salaries match up.  Then trade Beal for Simmons and Thybulle.

ESPN's Bobby Marks proposed Deni, Kuzma, KCP, and two first rounders (2025 and 2027) for Sabonis and Jeremy Lamb.  I don't think the Wizards move Kuzma at this point, and Rui and Beal are likely off the table as well.

The Wizards have some cap space (about $5 million), unfortunately their 2023 pick, (and if it's not a lottery pick, then their 24, and 25 picks) are all going to OKC (via Houston from the Westbrook trade).  ESPN notes that Beal has a 15% bonus in his contract that the Wizards must pay if they trade him.

Yea. That is way too much to give up. Substitute Harrell for Kuzma and maybe one of those firsts. Lamb does not play much anymore.

Tough loss. Not sure why Kuzma stepped back for a three when they only needed two. Could have gotten a closer jumper or taken it to the rim. Had plenty of time.

Not easy to do.  They will make SportsCenter.

Just trade Beal.

Second-biggest blown lead in NBA history (since they began keeping this stat in 1996)...grim.
